Receiver Devin Lucien will jump from UCLA to Arizona State and play his final season as a graduate transfer, the school announced.

The 6-foot-1 Lucien ranked third on the Bruins last season with 29 receptions for 225 yards and two touchdowns. In three seasons of action, he caught 58 passes for 752 yards with four scores.

Lucien will boost a position of need for the Sun Devils.

Arizona State must replace leading receiver Jaelen Strong, an early entrant into the NFL draft, and it lost No. 3 receiverCameron Smithto a season-ending knee injury this spring. The Sun Devils' top returning receiver is D.J. Foster, who caught 62 passes last fall, but he is a converted running back.

With big-armed senior Mike Bercovici behind center, Arizona State is expected to be more aggressive in the downfield passing game than it was with three-year starter Taylor Kelly.

To complete his transfer and be eligible to play this fall, Lucien must graduate in June from UCLA.
