LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly trading outfielder Matt Kemp to the San Diego Padres, according to an ESPN source.

The source said the Dodgers will get catcher Yasmani Grandal, pitcher Joe Wieland and another prospect, while the Padres get Kemp and catcher Tim Federowicz.

According to the Associated Press, the Padres are due to receive some $30 million to help offset the $107 million still remaining on Kemp's deal, which has to be approved by the commissioner's office.

The 30-year-old Kemp had a strong second half in 2014 for the NL West champion Dodgers, finishing the season with a .287 average, 25 home runs and 89 RBIs.

His best season was 2011, when he hit .324 with 39 homers and 126 RBIs. He finished second in MVP voting and made the first of two straight All-Star teams.

In the past few days, the Dodgers' front office has made several other deals with Philadelphia, Miami and the Angels.

ESPN and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
