Former MLB star Jose Canseco says he wants to sell shot-off finger

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Former major league slugger Jose Canseco says he wants to sell a unique piece of memorabilia - his finger.

Last month, Canseco accidentally shot off his finger while cleaning his gun. He had the finger surgically re-attached, but last week, he said it just "fell off" while he was playing poker.

Monday, Canseco posted on Twitter that he now wants to sell the finger on eBay, joking that it could be used as a utensil to stir drinks.

He later tweeted that he also might sell the gun he shot himself with in addition to his finger.

It's unclear how serious he is or if eBay will even let him sell the finger.
