The LA Galaxy officially ruled out Robbie Rogers for the rest of 2017 by placing thedefender on theirSeason Ending Injury list on Thursday.
Rogers had surgery in the offseason after suffering nerve damage in his left ankle and will now miss the entire campaign.
Placing him on the injury list will allow the Galaxy to add another player to their squad for this season.
Rogers, 29, is a 10-year MLS veteran who started 19 games for LA last year in the regular season and all three of their playoff games.
