Lonzo Ball upsets Lil B for choosing Migos over Nas

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball made his reality TV debut this week, but a particular opinion that he expressed in the first episode of "Ball in the Family" did not sit well with rapper Lil B.

When the No. 2 overall pick and Las Vegas Summer League MVP was told that he should listen to "real hip-hop," Ball responded by saying "That's not gonna happen. Y'all outdated, man. Don't nobody listen to Nas anymore ... Real hip-hop is Migos, Future."

Lil B was none too pleased after hearing this remark, prompting the 28-year-old Bay Area native known for placing curses on his nonbelievers to call out Ball and the Lakers on Twitter.

Last summer, Ball tweeted out his top-5 favorite rappers -- a list that did not yet include Migos, who rose to national prominence later that year. More recently, he insisted that up-and-coming rapper 21 Savage's first album was superior to the most recent set of tracks from hip-hop legend Jay-Z.

Ball is not the first member of Lakers to have offended Lil B. Last year, the rapper appeared on ESPN and placed a curse upon D'Angelo Russell after the point guard infamously leaked a video showing then-teammate Nick Youngapparently admitting infidelity.

Prior to the 2017 NBA Finals, Lil B lifted a two-year curse on Houston Rockets guard James Harden for purportedly stealing his signature dance. Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has also fallen victim to one of Lil B's hexes.

Tread lightly, Lonzo.
