Pac-12 boasts four finalists as Wooden Award trims list to 15

The John R. Wooden Award trimmed its list down to 15 on the final ballot, with the postseason set to begin and voting set to take place before the end of the month.

The Pac-12 conference boasts the most nominees, led by a trio of freshmen in UCLA's Lonzo Ball, Washington's Markelle Fultz and Arizona's Lauri Markkanen joining Oregon's Dillon Brooks.

Fultz is the only player on the remaining list who plays for a team with a losing record.

The ACC, which lost two players from the top-20 list, has the only matchup of two top-15 players in the regular-season finale, when North Carolina's Justin Jackson and Duke's Luke Kennard face off.

Kansas emerged as the only team to have two players considered from the same roster, with senior guard Frank Mason III and freshman forward Josh Jackson.

Mason and Villanova's Josh Hart are the only seniors who made the final list.

The Wooden Award winner will be broadcast on the College Basketball Awards Show on April 7, televised by ESPN.
