Eric Washington, the Carolina Panthers' defensive line coach, gave one family a holiday to remember by replacing their stolen Christmas gifts.

Washington saw a local television report about Crystal Davis, a single mother of five whose house was robbed Sunday. According to NBC Charlotte, the thief stole all of the family's gifts from under their Christmas tree.

Washington's wife Amy and sister Angela went shopping on Christmas Eve while Washington was at practice, purchasing gifts for Davis' family.

The gifts were delivered to the Davis family in time for Christmas morning.

"This has turned out to be an awesome Christmas," Davis told NBC Charlotte. "I think it's the best one yet."

"We are just so thrilled to be able to share the holiday with Ms. Davis and her family," Amy Washington said. "We think every child should wake up and have a smile on Christmas morning."
