OC man suspected of being prolific porch pirate

IRVINE, Calif. (KABC) -- Irvine police have arrested a 33-year-old man believed to be a prolific porch pirate.

Suspect Anthony Brian Palusso, 33, of Mission Viejo, is suspected in a string of package thefts - at least 20 in Irvine and potentially in other Orange County cities as well.

The suspect in multiple thefts was caught on home surveillance video. After the photos were released to the public recently, Garden Grove police arrested Palusso at a local hotel Tuesday following a tip from someone who saw his picture on the news.

He was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken into custody.
