Anaheim fire: Westbound 91 Freeway reopens, eastbound closed

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- The westbound 91 Freeway has reopened in Anaheim after a fire Wednesday afternoon. The eastbound portion remains closed at Harbor Boulevard.

The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. near East Street. The blaze was under control by 2 p.m., but crews were still tending to hot spots, Anaheim police said.

The blaze burned up a power pole and also threatened power lines. No power outages were reported, according to Southern California Edison officials, and there were no immediate reports of injuries, according to police.
