LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Metro is aiming to make it easy and cheap to get around for the holidays.
On Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, Metro is offering free rides for anyone who boards between the hours of 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.
On both days, the rail and bus lines will be running on a regular Sunday schedule.
"While free fares are in effect, fare gates will be unlatched and anyone who accidentally taps their TAP card will not be charged," according to a press release.
