A cooling trend in Los Angeles and Southern California is bringing clouds and temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A cooling trend in Southern California is bringing clouds and temperatures in the 60s and 70s.



Although conditions will be cool, no rain is expected until Christmas Eve when showers are possible.



Los Angeles and Orange counties on Monday will reach a high of 69 degrees, dropping to 50 at night.



The valleys and Inland Empire on Monday can expect sunny conditions with a high of 72 degrees, dropping to 51 degrees at night.



Beaches on Monday should see morning clouds and partly sunny skies in the afternoon with a high of 63 degrees and a low of 53.



Mountains on Monday will be mostly sunny amid a high of 60 degrees. Temperatures drop to a chilly 30 degrees overnight.



Deserts will be partly cloudy Monday with temperatures reaching 72 degrees during the day and dropping to 38 degrees at night.
