OC residents warned of dangerous high surf
Bursts of rain in Orange County Tuesday did not cause any major issues, but wild surf had officials warning residents to stay out of the water.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Bursts of rain in Orange County Tuesday did not cause any major issues, but wild surf had officials warning residents to stay out of the water.

Up to 10 feet waves were expected, making for dangerous conditions. Runoff from the rain also elevates bacteria levels in the water, Hungtington Beach Marine Safety Lt. Mike Beuerlein said.
