SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- The Powerhouse Fire, which burned more than 30,000 acres in the Angeles National Forest last year, was caused by electrical power lines creating an ignition source, U.S. Forest Service investigators released Monday.

All possible causes were considered, officials said.

The Powerhouse Fire began on May 30, 2013 and reached full containment on June 10, 2013. More than 2,000 firefighters from around the state were dispatched to battle the flames.
