BRENTWOOD (KABC) -- A rare architectural treasure is going on the market in Los Angeles.
While relatively tiny, the Sturges home in Brentwood was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, considered one of the greatest American architects.
The 1,200 square-foot, two-bedroom home is being put up for auction on Feb. 21, with proceeds going to a foundation set up by its most recent owners to benefit scholarships, arts programming and other causes.
The home was built in 1939 and its most recent occupants were Hollywood couple James Bridges and Jack Larson.
Bridges, who died in 1993, was a screenwriter and producer whose films included "The China Syndrome" and "Urban Cowboy."
Larson, who died last year, is best known for portraying Jimmy Olsen on the 1950s "Superman" television series.
