Homicide investigation underway after body found near Cahuenga Pass

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A body that was discovered in the parking garage of an apartment complex near the Cahuenga Pass on Tuesday is being treated as a homicide investigation, police said.

The discovery was first made at about 1:20 p.m. at the Toluca Hills Apartments in the 3600 block of Barham Boulevard, according to Los Angeles police.

No further details were immediately released, but authorities confirmed the death is being investigated as a homicide.

One witness said she saw a woman crying in the parking garage, saying that her husband had been killed, but police did not confirm that information.
