2 injured after car plummets 50 feet off freeway in Baldwin Park

BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- Two people received injuries after their car fell 50 feet off the 605 Freeway in Baldwin Park.

The single-car accident happened around 4 a.m., when the vehicle tore through the freeway's guardrail before plummeting and landing upside-down.

Officials have not released information regarding the condition of the hospitalized victims.

It's unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the incident.
