Woman fatally shot in head outside Mid-City Los Angeles bar

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 36-year-old woman died after being shot in the head in front of Lupillos Bar in Mid-City Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Authorities were called at about 8:20 p.m. to the bar located near 14th Street and Western Avenue. The bar was shut down as a result of the shooting.

The victim was identified as Siria Imelda Portillo Torres.

The suspect remains at large. An investigation was ongoing.
