Orlando shooting survivor reunited with officer who rescued him from club
ORLANDO, Fla. (KABC) -- It was an incredibly touching moment at an Orlando hospital, where a survivor of the nightclub shooting was reunited with the police officer who rescued him.
Eatonville Police Officer Omar Delgado gave Angel Colon a big hug during a visit Thursday at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where Colon is recovering.
Colon was at the Pulse Nightclub on Sunday when the shooting broke out. He was shot multiple times and quickly found himself on the floor and unable to move.
That's when Delgado was able to pull Colon, who was critically injured, through the carnage and outside to safety.

"When he was dragging me out I could just look up and tell him, 'Just like hurry, please hurry, go hurry,' but now seeing him again in a different environment in a happy place, it's awesome," he said.
Delgado said meeting Colon was a very emotional experience.
"Very, very emotional just knowing that I helped, assisted saving that man's life. And him thanking me, that was, you can't put it into words," Delgado said.
Forty-nine people died when a gunman opened fire at Pulse nightclub early Sunday morning.
President Barack Obama met with families of the victims in Orlando on Thursday.
