VIDEO: Bernie Sanders strolls down Hollywood Boulevard, meets fans

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- As party voters were lining up in three other states, Sen. Bernie Sanders was strolling down Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday, shaking hands and taking selfies with fans.

The Democratic presidential candidate had arrived early for a taping at the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show in Hollywood and decided to take a walk down one of the city's more colorful and crowded streets.

Accompanied by an entourage of Secret Service agents, he shook dozens of hands and stopped for numerous selfies. Most people greeted him with enthusiasm, wishing him luck in the election and shouting "Bernie Sanders 2016" or "We love you!"

As the Vermont senator was in Hollywood, Arizona was holding its Democratic primary, while Idaho and Utah were holding caucuses. Sanders also made appearances in Flagstaff, Arizona and San Diego on Tuesday.

On the Kimmel show, Sanders took a more somber tone when asked about the terrorist attacks in Brussels.

He called ISIS a "disgusting, barbaric organization" but cautioned that the United States has to work in concert with its allies to fight terrorism.

"I think what we have to understand is we're not going to undermine the Constitution of the United States of America in order to effectively destroy ISIS," Sanders said.

"We can't do that. Our goal in this issue is to destroy ISIS in coalition with Muslim nations on the ground, with the support of the United States and the other major powers. I think we can do that."
