LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The much-needed rain fell to varying degrees throughout Southern California on Sunday, ranging from light sprinkles in Griffith Park and Hollywood to pouring hard with strong wind gusts in mountain communities.
Some Angelenos were happy to see the rain after such a hot, dry summer.
"It's nice to have some clouds," said David Doidge of Silver Lake. "It's always sunny. It's good for a change."
