Eyewitness This: SoCal gas prices tick upward, fueled by weekend demand

After a week of going down, Los Angeles area gas prices have made a U-turn.

The average cost of a gallon of regular gas is up slightly since Thursday, to about $3.78. Ventura has the second-highest prices in the area, at $3.78. Riverside is the cheapest at around $3.68.
