HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A portion of Hollywood Boulevard was closed down Monday as Van Halen entertained a huge crowd for ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
The boulevard will remain closed between Orange Street and Highland Avenue until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The band, including original lead singer David Lee Roth with brothers Alex and Eddie Van Halen, performed a special concert. The show will be broadcast Monday and Tuesday night.
This marks the rock band's first television performance in the U.S. with Roth. Van Halen has sold more than 75,000 million albums and recorded several chart-topping songs.
It's part of Van Halen's celebration of their 2015 summer and fall North American tour, which kicks off July 5 in Seattle. Tickets for the tour go on sale April 4.
