5 injured in multi-car crash in West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Five people were rushed to the hospital after a multi-car crash in West Hollywood.

Los Angeles County fire officials said three vehicles crashed shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday near La Cienega Boulevard and Sherwood Drive.

A total of five people were transported to nearby hospitals: one in critical condition, two in moderate condition and two others with minor injuries.

La Cienega Boulevard was closed as deputies conducted their investigation into the collision.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
