Friday the Santa Ana Police gang homicide unit says 22-year-old Eric Ortiz was arrested and booked for the 2006 killing of 51-year-old Emeterio Adame.
The Ortiz arrest came a day after police said they'd arrested and charged another man, Isaac Palacios, with the murder of Adame's 21-year-old son Randy, who died in a gang shooting six weeks before his father's murder.
Santa Ana's cold-case gang homicide unit is credited with solving 15 murders since it was organized less than four years ago.
