Dog killed, man injured in intense apartment fire in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- A dog was killed and a man was recovering from injuries after a fire in Anaheim.

The fire broke out just before 11 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex on Brownwood Avenue and Brookhurst Street.

Two units were damaged in the blaze.

The man who suffered burns to his hands is expected to be OK.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
