LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- "The Shield" actor Michael Jace was charged Thursday with the murder of his wife, the Los Angeles County District's Attorney announced.
Jace, 51, had his arraignment postponed to June 18. His bail was set at $2 million per the prosecution's request.
The actor, who has appeared in numerous movies and television shows, is suspected of fatally shooting his wife, April Jace, at the couple's Hyde Park home on Monday. He called 911 shortly after 8:30 p.m.
April Jace was found dead inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds, district attorney officials said. She and their two young boys had recently returned home from baseball practice before the shooting, police said.
If convicted, Jaces faces 50 years to life in state prison.
