The former Ukrainian TV reporter who rushed at Brad Pitt on the red carpet during a movie premiere has been sentenced.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The former Ukrainian TV reporter who rushed at Brad Pitt on the red carpet during a Hollywood movie premiere has been sentenced.

Vitalii Sediuk, 25, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges, including battery. Prosecutors say he made contact with Pitt's face on Wednesday at the premiere of Angelina Jolie's new movie, "Maleficent." Pitt was not injured.

Sediuk was sentenced to three years of probation. He must perform 20 days of community labor, undergo psychological counseling and stay 500 yards away from future celebrity events for three years. He was also hit with a restraining order and must stay away from Pitt and Jolie.

Sediuk has gotten into trouble eat other red carpet events.

Actress America Ferrera experienced a bizarre red carpet moment two weeks ago at the Cannes Film Festival in France while promoting her film, "How to Train Your Dragon 2." While posing for pictures with Cate Blanchett and the cast, Sediuk snuck up behind her and tried to get under her dress. Security pounced on him and took him away.

At a movie premiere in Moscow in 2012, he gave actor Will Smith a hug, and then tried to kiss Smith on the mouth. Smith was not amused and smacked him in the face.
