Kelly Clarkson announces baby girl's birth on Twitter

Singer Kelly Clarkson announced on Twitter Saturday that her baby girl has arrived.

Clarkson said the baby's name is River Rose Blackstock.

"Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!" Clarkson said in the tweet.

This is the singer's first child with her husband, Brandon Blackstock. The two were married last year. Blackstock works in the industry as a music manager.

The 32-year-old singer is known for hits like "Stronger" and "Since U Been Gone."
