Kelly Clarkson shows off photo of baby girl River Rose
LOS ANGELES -- Kelly Clarkson gave her fans their first glimpse at her baby girl when she posted a photo of her newborn daughter sleeping in a carriage on Twitter on Friday, June 20.
Clarkson gave birth to her daughter River Rose on June 12. River is Clarkson's first child and Blackstock's third. He has two children, a son and a daughter, from a previous relationship.
"Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet :)," Clarkson wrote in a tweet that featured the photo.
She later added, "Thank you so much @Archetype_Photo @kobyb for the amazing pictures of our little girl!! Once again, y'all knocked it out of the park!!"
The 32-year-old singer and Blackstock tied the knot in a private ceremony on Oct. 20, 2013. Clarkson announced her pregnancy in November and announced the birth of her child in a tweet posted on June 14.
"Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th," Clarkson wrote. "Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :)"
