HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Members of the Mexican rock band Mana are used to making history. On Wednesday, they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Mana broke a record for sold-out shows at the Staples Center in 2012. They've earned four Grammys, and they've sold more than 40 million records.
The entertainment community and their loyal fans said thank you in true Hollywood fashion. A huge legion of very vocal fans crowded Hollywood Boulevard to help welcome Mana to the Walk of Fame.
And the fans are who Mana wanted to make sure were recognized.
"It's very difficult for a Latino artist to break here in the United States, and we are very grateful for everybody that's been behind this band for almost 30 years," said Alex Gonzalez.
America Ferrera and Carlos Santana were on hand for the unveiling.
Mana will play on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday night.
