Little girl's Flutterbye toy flies straight into an open fire

Now that Christmas is over, we can endure the aftermath of all those gifts gone wrong. This adorable little girl was in the middle of showing us her brand new Flutterbye Fairy toy when the unthinkable happened. Take a look.

As the Flutterbye ventures toward the fireplace, the lack of air can't support its wings, and it drops like a stone into the flames. The fire roars as it swallows the toy whole, and the family cries as the fairy surely burns alive.

It could have been worse, right?... the toy could have reemerged, while aflame, and floating around the house.

Fortunately, the video won the family a sizable cash prize on America's Funniest Home Videos, so she probably got another one. Let's just hope that the next Flutterbye will not suffer the same horrific fate of its predecessor.
