LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- More than 31,000 pounds of gluten-free breaded chicken products are being recalled across the nation due to contamination that can cause food poisoning, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Safety Inspection Service said Saturday.
Murray's, Inc., of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, is recalling the following products:
The products have a best by date of Aug. 9, 2015, and have establishment No. P-516 on the USDA inspection mark.
The chicken is contaminated with Staphylococcal enterotoxin, which can cause food poisoning within 30 minutes of eating. Symptoms of food poisoning include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea. The illness typically passes within one to three days.
So far there have been no reports of illness linked to the chicken, the FSIS said.
