DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- On the southeastern edge of downtown Los Angeles, near the rail yards and along the concrete shores of the Los Angeles River, one of the city's newest and most ambitious developments seems impossible to ignore.

One Santa Fe is billed as an urban community, a sprawling mixed-use development, which includes 438 apartments and dozens of retail storefronts.
