11-year-old girl reported missing in Granada Hills found safe

GRANADA HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An 11-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Granada Hills has been found safe, according to the LAPD Devonshire Station.

Elizabeth Peralejo, also known as "Lizzy," was last seen in the 11400 block of Hayvenhurst Avenue around 6:45 a.m., investigators said.

Officials from the LAPD media relations office said she was found safe and in good health near Balboa and Foothill boulevards around 2:15 p.m. Elizabeth has since been reunited with her family.
