PICO RIVERA, Calif. (KABC) -- A third teenager was charged on Friday with special circumstance murder in the fatal home-invasion robbery in Pico Rivera.

Angel Emilio Estrello, 15, is facing one count of murder, two counts of home-invasion robbery and one count of first-degree burglary. He was charged as an adult.

Two others, including the homeowner's 17-year-old son, were charged on Tuesday with the same counts. Sergio Anthony Gutierrez, 18-year-old Jesus Rafael Adame and Estrello are scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 7.

Sergio Gutierrez, 50, was stabbed to death Saturday at his residence on the 3700 block of Oaklawn Lane. Prosecutors say after the killing, the three teens stole cash, credit cards and the family vehicle from the home.

The teens were arrested Sunday for the murder.

The district attorney's office has not yet announced whether it will seek the death penalty against Adame. The other two teens are not eligible for the death penalty due to their age.
