2 Lake Arrowhead homes destroyed in fire

LAKE ARROWHEAD, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (KABC) -- Two homes were destroyed during a fire in a Lake Arrowhead community on Monday.

Firefighters responded to Glen Avon Drive and Lilac Way in the Cedar Glen community just before 1 a.m.

Two homes connected by decks were engulfed in flames. The residences were gutted and destroyed.

No one was inside at the time, but officials said there was a threat to nearby structures and wild land.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
