SALTON CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 struck 13 miles south-southeast of Salton City on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 12:18 p.m. and had a depth of 7.7 miles.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
