4 rushed to hospital following Metro bus crash in Culver City
Four people were transported to the hospital following a crash between a dump truck and a Metro bus in Culver City Wednesday morning.

CULVER CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- Four people were transported to the hospital following a crash between a dump truck and a Metro bus in Culver City Wednesday morning.



Six people were on the bus at the time of the crash. The four taken to the hospital included both drivers.



The conditions of the injured individuals were not immediately known.



The crash happened near the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Slauson Avenue. Authorities said the bus was traveling eastbound on Jefferson Boulevard when it collided with the truck, which was exiting the freeway.



The cause of the accident was not known.



The Jefferson Boulevard off ramp from the northbound 405 Freeway was shut down due the wreck. Also, Jefferson Boulevard was closed in both directions.
