4 suspects sought in Westfield Topanga mall jewelry store armed robbery
Police said four suspects armed with a gun and hammers robbed the Ben Bridge Jeweler store in Westfield Topanga mall.

CANOGA PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities searched for four suspects involved in a jewelry store armed robbery at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park.

Around 7:45 p.m., four men wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the Ben Bridge Jeweler store.

Police said one suspect was armed with a gun and the other three had hammers.

They ordered all the employees to get on the ground and shattered the glass cases, stealing an unknown number of Rolex watches, according to officials.

The suspects then fled the store and took off in an unknown car.

Los Angeles police officers said a tracking device that was on one of the stolen watches, which led them to the side of the southbound 405 Freeway, just south of Skirball Avenue. Officers searched the area but did not find any sign of the suspected getaway car or stolen merchandise.

Investigators said they would review surveillance video from the mall and surrounding area.
