ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- Anaheim police are looking for additional alleged victims of a transient who was pretending to be a police officer and stopping citizens.

Authorities say two women were "pulled over" near La Palma Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard at about 10 a.m. on Oct. 26. They were driving south on Anaheim Boulevard when a Cadillac slowed down and deliberately blocked their path.

The male suspect approached the victims, told them he was a police officer and that he intended to arrest them.

When the victims told him they were going to call police to verify his status, the suspect fled in his Cadillac.

The victims were able to read the suspect's license plate number and report the incident to police.

The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Gabriel Magna Lopez, a local transient. He was located in his vehicle and arrested on Dec. 4 for felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor impersonating a police officer.

Police believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information is urged to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS.
