Arrest made after woman found dead inside Burbank home

BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- A 49-year-old man was arrested in connection to the death of a woman whose body was found inside a Burbank home Sunday night.

The victim was found dead at a residence in the the 1900 block of Richard Street at about 10 p.m. Sunday after officers were dispatched to a call of a woman not breathing.

Burbank police initially said the woman had been stabbed, but later said they could not confirm her cause of death. She was found with multiple lacerations to her upper torso.

Brian Thomas Lowe was being held in lieu of $1 million bail. He lives with his mother at the Burbank residence where the woman was found.

Police believe Lowe and the victim knew each other, but she did not live at the home. A motive has not been determined.
