LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities were investigating the circumstances surrounding a person's body found inside of a car in Lancaster.
Around 2:54 p.m. Tuesday, Los Angeles County homicide detectives arrived at the scene near 110th Street East and Avenue H.
During the investigation, detectives learned that Lancaster deputies saw a car in the location. When the deputies looking inside, they found the person's body. It was unclear for how long the car was at the spot or for how long the person had been dead.
The cause of death and identity will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
The investigation was ongoing. No further information was available.
