LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The San Francisco Giants fan who was severely beaten in the parking lot at a Dodgers game has filed a new $3.4 million lawsuit against the team.
In the suit, which was filed Monday, Bryan Stow's attorney claims the Dodgers, two insurers and his employer are depriving Stow of the medical care he needs.
Stow suffered permanent brain damage after being beaten by two Dodger fans in a parking lot of Dodger stadium in 2011.
Earlier this year, a jury awarded him roughly $18 million in his first lawsuit against the team.
Now, the latest lawsuit states that the Dodgers and its insurance company refused to pay for treatment at a Bakersfield facility and reduced the amount of therapy Stow could receive annually.
His family says Stow's condition regressed as a result.
