Car fire spreads to brush off 91 Freeway in Corona

CORONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A car fire spread to dry brush off the eastbound 91 Freeway at Green River Road in Corona on Tuesday night.

The flames were reported from a car on the side of freeway at about 11:24 p.m., said CalFire. Minutes later, it had spread to the brush area.

By 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, two right lanes of the eastbound 91 Freeway had been shut down near Green River Road. The Green River Road offramp was also closed.
