SOUTH GATE (KABC) -- A driver speeding through a residential neighborhood in South Gate crashed and careened into 11 parked cars before his own vehicle flipped on its roof Monday, police said.
The 24-year-old driver, a Downey resident, was listed in critical condition, police said. The crash was reported around 3:46 p.m. in the 8400 block of Chestnut Street. No other injuries were reported.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
