Wrong-way driver shuts down 210 Freeway in Duarte, arrested

DUARTE, Calif. (KABC) -- A wrong-way driver caused a three-car collision on the westbound 210 Freeway in Duarte, temporarily shutting down most lanes.

The accident was reported at about 11:35 p.m. Saturday on the freeway at Mountain Avenue. Police arrested the wrong-way driver and said the suspect appeared to be under the influence.

Several victims suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

All lanes were reopened by about 1 a.m.
