FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- Flames tore through the upper floors of a Fullerton residential complex Sunday, destroying four condos.
The fourth-alarm fire was reported shortly before 5:15 p.m. at a 12-unit complex in the 2700 block of East Quail Ridge Circle. About 22 units were dispatched to the scene.
The blaze chewed through the attic of the wooden building. At least four other condos sustained smoke and water damage.
No injuries were reported.
Vincent and Cheyenne Williams had been staying at the complex with a relative. They lost all of their belongings in the fire.
"I saw flames. In my eyes, there was no time to really grab anything else. Got my wife, that's all that matters," Vincent Williams said.
The fire was knocked down by 7:20 p.m., according to a tweet by Fullerton police.
Residents were displaced for the night. The Red Cross was on scene to provide assistance.
An investigation into the cause of the fire was underway.
