BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide detectives were investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Baldwin Park Thursday night.
A call came in around 5:30 p.m. regarding a stabbing in the 4700 block of Main Avenue, according to Baldwin Park police.
A man in his 30s was found stabbed to death near his garage. The man's 18-year-old girlfriend was found with stab wounds by a neighbor's porch. Authorities said she does not live at the home with her boyfriend, but is a Baldwin Park resident.
She is in stable condition at a local hospital. Both the man and woman were stabbed in the upper torso.
A murder weapon has not been found, and authorities do not believe there are any outstanding suspects.
According to witness reports, the couple were heard arguing earlier in the day.
"They were fighting earlier today, and I'm guessing that the same thing occurred again...They had been arguing non-stop, but then when the police showed up, I kind of figured something serious had happened," Victoria McGinnis said.
LASD Lt. Steve Jauch said it is unclear what caused the disagreement or the physical attack.
Authorities said they need to interview the man's girlfriend to find out what went on before the stabbing.
