Man killed in Florence deputy-involved shooting

FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was killed in a deputy-involved shooting in Florence Thursday evening.

The shooting happened around 5:46 p.m. in the 1700 block of E. 83rd Street, authorities said. It was unclear what led to the shooting.

Authorities said the man was shot in the stomach and may have died at the scene.
