1 stabbed to death in Northridge
One person died after a stabbing in a residential Northridge neighborhood Thursday afternoon, officials said.

NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One man died after a stabbing in Northridge Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The stabbing was reported around 12:45 p.m. in a ground floor apartment of a complex in the 18000 block of Roscoe Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The location is a residential neighborhood, only blocks from a middle school and an elementary school.

Two people were detained at the scene.

"We've confirmed that we have a homicide at the location," said Los Angeles Police Department Capt. Bryan Lium. "Cause of death has not been determined. We have multiple suspects detained associated with the homicide."

The identity of the victim was not released, other than he was an adult male.
